I have been making art since I was very young. Always encouraged by my Mom and an awesome art teacher back in grade school who was the best. Never disparaging but always encouraging to try anything and everything with many materials. This led me to try many art forms/mediums over the decades. Many I still use to this day.
I am a marine engineer by trade and I became interested in glass & many forms of art over 35 years ago through fabricating and welding metal frames for other artists. My art pieces are made from unique patterns created from the many things I see in life and imagination. I specialize in creating one-of-a-kind glass and alcohol ink artworks. I am mainly self-taught but have had some formal training. I learn by watching the world around me and other artists. Experimenting is my best friend to get the unique pieces I make. My studio is in Aylmer, Ontario where I create artworks and do commissions. I support local animal rescues, charities and the Legion Poppy fund. I have won a few ribbons and awards for my art and my absolute favorites are the awards I have won by being picked by my fellow artists. |
